Sod-roofed Museum

Tall balsam poplar trees and highbush cranberry bushes line the path to a log cabin complete with sod roof. Built on the site of the orginal blacksmith workshop; This is a museum with exhibits of photos, Athabascan beadwork, transportation equipment, communication devices, and roadhouse relics. The exhibits date from the turn of the century to the late 1950's and were graciously donated by the Delta Junction Historical Society and its associates. Archival photographs can also be seen here and in the roadhouse.
