   My name is Diane Debigare and I am originally from Malden, Massachusetts. I work at the Roadhouse Gift Store selling furs and jewelry and my goal is to make customers feel relaxed and able to enjoy themselves. I like to interact with the customers on a more personal level by letting them know about my life in Alaska. Getting to know them better makes my time with them and their visit and/or purchases very satisfactory.

   My name is Nannette Timothy and I moved to Alaska from San Diego, California. I help take care of the grounds & garden at Rika's. I also enjoy photography and spend alot of my time taking pictures of our beautiful alaska scenery!

   My name is Karen Keller and I moved to Alaska from New Hampshire with my husband and five children. Working at the Pavilion as a hostess or cashier is my primary job and I love being part of helping you experience the beauty of the park, find the perfect gifts and souvenirs, and enjoy the food at the Pavilion.

   My name is Joy Keller and I am from Independence, Missouri. I work in the restaurant and particularly like our homemade soup. I want our guests to love our food and leave full and happy. One big seller is our homemade pies, especially strawberry-rhubarb.

   My name is Daniela Hasz and being from Zurich, Switzerland generates engaging conversation with customers interested in where I am from and what brought me to Alaska. I work at the restaurant and enjoy making sure we have the highest quality of service so that our customers are relaxed and happy, feeling like this stop was the highlight of their trip.

   My name is Megan Greenleaf and I moved from Jacksonville, Florida to Alaska. You can find me at the Roadhouse Gift Shop where I love to talk to customers and find out where they are from and what they do for a living. I want the customers to be able to laugh, relax and enjoy the fresh Alaskan air and majestic scenery.

   My name is Laura Bailey and I was born in Hanover, New Hampshire. Working as a tour guide gives me a great opportunity to be able to tell about what it was like growing up in Alaska, something that customers like to hear about firsthand. If I were a visitor here, I would want to find good food, friendly people and a nice, well-kept park, so I enjoy being able to deliver that service.

    My name is Elaine Eads and my husband Emerson and I and our four sons have lived here in Alaska for over 22 years. We are originally from San Diego, California and lived for 12 years in New Hampshire. My great joy is meeting people from all over the U.S. and World. The area of sales I enjoy the most is our beautiful fur jackets and accessories. I enjoy educating people about furs or just having them try them on for fun and take their picture!

   My name is Vickie Greenleaf and I am from Roaring Spring, Pennsylvania. Sales is my forte at the Roadhouse Gift Shop and I enjoy telling about the products made by the people who work here. Having customers enjoy a friendly atmosphere, find the gift items they need, and have a satisfactory dining experience makes me very happy.

   My name is Ron Greenleaf and I am from Roaring Spring, Pennsylvania. Being a hunter, I am always interested in what kinds of wildlife the people visiting us have seen and if they are enjoying their visit.    My name is Alicia Greenleaf and I have lived with my family in Alaska all my life. I work at the restaurant and also take care of the flowers, lawn and garden areas. Being knowledgeable about my work is one of my top priorities so I'm able to help visitors be informed as well.

Samuel & Karen Wenger
    My name is Samuel and this is my wife Karen. We both came from the East Coast to make Alaska our home. I work in the Gift Shop at the Roadhouse while Karen works in the office. I often give tours around the Park which has historical buildings, artifacts and many great legends of the early people who came to explore and to settle this territory. I enjoy telling these stories and making history come alive for our visitors.

    My name is Don Winston and I am from San Jose, California. At Rika's, you find me outside where I work as a gardener, grounds keeper, and beekeeper. I love being able to talk to people who also have a love and appreciation for the outdoors. I enjoy breaking misconceptions about Alaska and its weather, and making Rika's a distinct part of their Alaskan experience.

   My name is Kevin Hayes and this is my wife, Anne. We moved to Alaska from New England. When people come through, we want them to be able to enjoy the animals, the beautiful grounds, the best strawberry-rhubarb pie on the Alaskan Highway, and to know that they have made new friends.

    My name is Diana Harper and I am from Chicago, Illinois. I sell furs at the Roadhouse but I love to see visitors experience the diversity of our fur room, gift shop, restaurant, and bakery. Sharing experiences and interests with our customers is something that I highly enjoy, to make them feel welcome and relaxed and to make our time together memorable.

   My name is Ben Mercier and I am from Fort Saint John, B.C., Canada. I work primarily at the Roadhouse Gift Shop and sometimes at the restaurant. Being a year-round resident, many people are interested in what life in Alaska is like, so I enjoy sharing with them the winter life here. I want them to get the whole picture so that they have a good general image in their mind of what we do and how we live in the cold. I want them to feel like this was the highlight of their day, if not the highlight of their trip.

   My name is David DiGloria and I am originally from Methuen, Massachusetts. I work in the Roadhouse Gift Shop, the restaurant, bakery, grounds, and the office. I grew up in suburbia, but when I came to Alaska, I realized that there were different kinds of people here other than the stereotype rugged outdoorsmen. I would like people to be able to relax and enjoy the grounds and the setting, to have excellent food and be ableto explore the gift shop, and to have an overall impression of excellence witha desire to return. I want them to feel genuinely served and cared for.

    My name is Mark Costanzo and my wife is Karen. We are originally from Punxsutawney & Altoona, Pennsylvania. Karen works as a fur seamstress and a hostess in the restaurant. I work as a tour guide and a handyman for the park. I like to talk about Alaska and life here at present and in the past, telling funny stories about the people who lived here during Rika's time. We think people should have a good time and feel at home here when they visit.
