Signal Corps Cabins

Worthy of note are the smooth interior walls of these log cabins, as seen in the interior pictures below. They were restored with hand-hewn logs, to match the original construction. Initially housing the telegraph office, they also served as living quarters for a dispatcher, two repairmen, and stored a year's worth of supplies. The Signal Corps' stable was situated directly behind the office and the living quarters, on the grassy picnic area located in front of the restaurant.
